birthday parties are for dressing up. that's what i like about them :)






what's even better about birthdays? the cake, of course!






tiramisu cake. mmm... apparently, while eating the cake, chia min and i geniusly inhaled the chocolate powder through our mouth and almost choked to death.





group pictures are always a MUST! so that on your 73rd birthday, you can show your grandchildren or great-grandchildren how granny or granpa looked like 50 years ago. (young and wrinkle-free!)





outside manhattan's. personally, i didn't enjoy the food that much. it was too bland. i only had two types of dishes on my plate. fish. chips.

i love this september :) all the holidays are making me lazy. lol.



i had been reading 'new moon' (completed it in three days) and i'm definitely looking forward to read 'eclipse' during the hari raya holidays.

F (friend): hey vivian, i need a favour from you.


V (me): yeah?


F: i want to give you rm xxxx. please accept my offer.


V: *bewildered*  seriously?? where did you get so much money from?


F: i won them. i have so much money, i don't know what to do with it.


V: "-.-    why don't you donate them for charity?
             but if you really want to give it to me, i'm willing to accept it.

p/s: i changed my mind. the weather sucks. the strong wind. sand particles flying like hail stones. painful eyes. not fun at all.

in fact, it's so good that all you want to do is grab a good book, go under the sheets, and fall asleep.






and the weather's making me feel extremely laid back, so bad that everyday feels like a holiday.







argh, it's a love-hate relationship!






i can't concentrate in class (it doesn't help that the lecturer speaks faster than a bullet train... so irritating!).






the weather is just too gooooooooooooooooood.







the nights are wonderful too.





i dreamed of roses, lots of them. i don't know why, but i did.





last night i dreamed that i was munching on a focaccia stuffed with ham and salad leaves.

Once again, the Mamak gang has returned! This time I got to meet up with Prema, my future colleague :):) I don't know why but we seemed so happy just by sharing our experiences as dental students. All the weird and funny stories














The next night, a few of us went to Jaya One to yam seng 'yam cha'. I ordered a Pina Colada cocktail. Very nice and tasty. Coconut-ty. After I finished my drink, I realised that I might have been cheated.

The cough, the phlegm and the problematic nose.





I really wish and hope it's not the infamous swine flu I've contracted. I wanted to check if I was really unlucky to actually get it, but the stupid clinic (not to be named) said that they'll only carry out tests for clusters in which a person is confirmed to be diagnosed with AH1N1.





But what if there was a person in the same bus as me who was carrying the virus? How am I to find out??











Sheeeeesh.

Anyway, classes are starting next Monday. Me and a few classmates stayed back during the one week of holidays to work in the dental clinic to complete our quota of practicals. Now I want my deserved holiday break. I don't want to go back to college :(
